Background Checks:Background Screening checks and verifications are often requested by employers on job candidates for employment screening, especially on candidates seeking a position that requires high security or a position of trust, such as in a school, hospital, financial institution, airport, and government.
Criminal check:Criminal record checks in South Africa are legally required to be verified by using a set of digitally captured fingerprints. Using the AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification System), the fingerprints are checked electronically directly against the South African Police Services (SAPS) database.
License Verification:Verify whether an individual's drivers license is authentic, valid or expired. MIE sources the drivers license information directly from e-Natis for precise and prompt feedback. Learners licenses can also be checked.
Accident History - This check tells you whether or not the individual has been involved in any reported vehicle accidents by checking on the e-Natis System.
Educational Checks:Southern African Tertiary qualifications from 25 universities (certificates, diplomas, degrees, honors, masters, Doctorates) are verified via the National Qualifications Register (NQR®). The NQR® greatly increases the speed and accuracy at which a verification of a qualification can be obtained.

A typical Consumer Credit check returns the following information:
- Defaults and judgements, if any
- Notices (e.g. sequestrations), if any
- Address and job histories
- Previous enquiry histories

A combined credit report with details from TransUnion, Experian, XDS and Compuscan.
Psych Evaluation:The report allows you to assess a candidate’s behavioral style by providing you with insight into the candidate’s personality and motivators while giving tips on how to successfully interview and manage the candidate.
This is conducted using Thomas International’s Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) a psychological tool which is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
